Oregano plants were grown from seed in our own Fragrance Garden. The oregano grove is beautiful when it blooms in its distinctive pink colour.
We distilled the flowers of the plants and the green ends of the twigs. We hand-picked them and carefully placed them in our distiller. We distilled them with pure spring water from the Pohorje Mountains.
Our oregano flowers have an extremely delicate, floral scent and so does the essential oil. It surprised us, as we were used to the more pungent scents of oregano essential oils from other places. We did not get much of it, so it is only available in really small bottles. It is one of the most striking essential oils in our collection.
