GALLIC ROSE HYDROSOL was created after several years of searching for the right way of growing and combining Gallic roses. It is produced during the distillation of Gallic rose petals in the water distillation process.

Gallic roses are European native roses and are best adapted to growing conditions in our part of the world. They were once very fashionable and grew in almost every home garden. Until today, only a small part of the former varieties has been preserved. You can read more about them on our page about old fragrant roses.

We are particularly proud that we have succeeded in producing a hydrolate from our beloved Rosa Mundi rose variety. Several years of learning from mistakes are behind us to create it. But what came out of it is worth every minute of hard work that went into it. The scent of this hydrolate contains all the grace and warmth with which this rose especially enchanted us.

Like all roses, calla lilies are excellent feminine plants. They belong to the level of the heart and all their influence on all our body systems goes through the heart. They spread love, peace and harmony, relieve heartaches and heal heart wounds and even act as an aphrodisiac. To whomsoever they bestow their royal attention, he is endowed with cordiality and joy for ever. Therefore, it is no wonder that they have always been considered the queens of gardens.

Fresh flowers from carefully cultivated flowering shrubs were used in the distillation. No fertilizer or spray interfered with their harmonious growth. The flowers were hand-picked in a private garden and carefully placed in the still. GALLIC ROSE HYDROSOL is therefore a completely natural product of exceptional quality, to which we have not added anything else. It is useful for many purposes, as the smell of sprayed hydrolat can help to change the mood.
