Many old roses are famous for their intoxicating scent. The VICTORIAN ROSE HYDROSOL contains old roses from the Hybrid Perpetual class. It is less known to the general public than the Damascene class. But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have the qualities we look for in old roses. It dominated the gardens of rose lovers during the Victorian era, when it was most fashionable and the scent of these roses was highly valued.

The flowers of roses from this class are usually large, very full of petals and strongly scented. The note of their fragrance is very similar to that of Damascan rose, and for some even more acceptable. It’s not that ‘heavy’, but it’s still a classic beautiful rose note.
