DAS (Društvo Aromaterapevtov Slovenije) vas vabi na vzhodni del države, k naši članici Evi Nedelko. Eva in Vinko Nedelko sta v bližini Maribora ustvarila Dišavni vrt, na katerem gojita in destilirata rastline, vodita delavnice in izobraževanja. Ogledali si bomo njun vrt in prikaz destilacije v 70-litrskem destilatorju. Za okrepčitev bo poskrbela gospa Vida s Turistične kmetije Žunko, ki bo za nas pripravila prigrizek in kosilo.
Srečanje je odprto tako za člane kot za nečlane DAS.
Udeležba za člane je 60 EUR in vključuje vodenje po dišavnem vrtu, prikaz profesionalne destilacije ter prigrizek in kosilo. Nečlanska cena je 75 EUR.

Yesterday’s trip to the Fragrance Garden at Vida could be said to have been a stroke of luck for the brave! Our luck was multifold: a rich distillation, a double rainbow and a bottle of hydrolat and fir essential oil in the hands of each participant! We didn’t let ourselves be distracted by the raindrops that appeared shortly after the garden walk and persisted for most of the day, but only had them as a soundtrack to the meditative cutting of the Kozjak fir twigs to the right size, learning about distillation with little tricks to make the process as optimal as possible, sniffing the boutique essential oils and hydrolates from the distillery’s garden, as well as exchanging our experiences of using them. Hosts Eva and Vinko Nedelko (Eywineo Essential Oils) are a true inspiration, their dedication and passion for aromatic plants can be felt from the entrance to the garden, and can be detected at the first inhale of any of their products.
Thank you both for your hospitality, insight into growing plants and sharing your distilling secrets. Thank you also to Mrs Vida, who complemented an already rich sensory experience with delicious dishes, including nettle soup, which warmed us up just right, and rose jam, which took us to a whole other world.
As the rain cleared, we were treated to a double rainbow and a view of Maribor in the late afternoon sun. The wide smiles on our faces and the question from one of the participants when there would be a trip again put the icing on the cake of the whole day.
