I love the varied and sophisticated scents of roses and this one is another speciality. The Scabrosa rose belongs to the variety of Rugosa roses. Robust and durable, bushy, very easy to cultivate, especially for beginners. With the general admiration that  the Damascenas get,  it remains  a bit unnoticed, but to me quite unjustly. Her scent is what makes her different. There is a strong note of the clove scent which is, of course, harmoniously incorporated with the classic scent of roses. The nature superbly  managed a top combination here, as well!
