SAGE hydrosol

Sage is picked by hand in our Herb garden. It grows up to 60 cm in height, its leaves are green and very large. However, the aroma and the power of hydrosol are not proportional to the size, our hydrolat being much milder than that from Dalmatia.

Sage hydrosol is one of the strongest; its taste spans from tough to refreshing. It is therefore not uncommon to dilute it with water for oral use.

Sage hydrolat is stable; it can be used within 24 months of the distillation date. Despite its many wonderful characteristics, some caution is advised. It is not recommended during pregnancy and for people with high pressure.

Its use is diverse:

dental hygiene: is excellent as an oral water, helps in cases of oral cavity and gum inflammations
skin: is an effective deodorant, as a tonic perfectly nourishes oily and mature skin
female hormones: alleviates menopausal hot flashes
energy: is an energy booster
cuisine: can be added to all dishes or drinks where one would normally use the spice sage
